Machine Cleaning

CNCS offers trained personnel to perform your machine cleaning, consisting of 2 to 3 cleaning technicians and a service engineer.  Most cleanings are performed during an annual preventive maintenance, but could be contracted separately.  Cleaning of your machine is very important to the maintenance of your machine and the health of your employees.  Though you may keep your machine clean on the outside, cleaning under the covers is a must to remove trapped coolant, coagulated coolant, way oil, and chips that accumulate under your machine covers.

Above is the before and after pictures of the Z-axis of a Hardinge T42.  In the before picture you see all the contaminated way oil, coolant and coagulated coolant.  This is not only bad for the machine in the means of rust and contaminates getting into the bearings, but also has a high bacteria level which could lead to health problems to your employees, such as skin rashes and bronchitis.
