Why have your home or future home inspected? Most people have homes inspected to
be sure of what they are buying or how to improve the home they bought. Some of
the pictures below are of homes that were purchased with your normal home
inspection and what was uncovered in some instances might have changed the
course of the sale.
Home ENERGY CONSERVATION INSPECTIONS
helps you evaluate your home's energy costs and how you can lower them. By
using thermal imaging with a blower door (calibrated fan), we can find all your
problem areas and give you recommendations on how to resolve these problems.
We do not perform any of the repairs and we are not tied to any companies that
do giving you the comfort in knowing that we will be giving you unbiased
facts. We use the top of the line thermal imaging and blower door equipment.
Everyone knows that with the rising cost of energy we need to resolve our energy issues or
pay the price.

Thermal Image picture showing
cold spots which could indicate heat loss or water damage.
Note the heat loss
around the heating vent the black area represents cold and escaping energy
into the attic. Having this energy loss in this area is a two fold energy
loss, one it is right next to a heating vent and two it is at the highest
point in the room.

Note the heat loss from
the non insulated basement representing a major heat loss. The basement was
finished on this home but the basement walls were never insulated

This thermal image is the
outside of a older home that was converted from baseboard heat to forced hot
air in which the heating contractor decided to run the heat vents to the
second floor via the outside walls. This was not realized by the home buyer
until a year later

This picture is showing
the heat loss from the top of the window, this could most likely resolved
with weather striping.

Radiant Floor and Slab Foundations Inspection

Radiant Floor inspection, this inspection was done after installation
checking for leaks and problem coils. This process could also be used to
detect leaks in slab foundations.
